Stress the importance of a Space between words in sentences at home. That is a big skill we need to work on as a class. We will focus on writing good sentences and later work on writing a good paragraph.
We will work on the parts of speech.
Identifying Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adjectives, and Adverbs.
We will also learn some about prefixes, suffixes, compound words, contractions, and ownership.
We use the Macmillan/McGraw-Hill Grammar for our English/Grammar practice.
